Law firms and in-house legal departments are challenged with securing sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) and corporate intellectual property every day. Data classification, automated processes, remote access controls and real-time audit trail tracking are essential to secure collaboration in the legal market place, but compliance with international regulation is just as important. Learn how companies in the U.S. use technology to certify their compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements and how enterprise digital rights management (EDRM) can automate the process, so it's not left up to an individual to secure files shared outside the network.

Presented by Lisa Harchuck Popadic

Since 2015, Lisa has been Seclore’s Director of Legal Business Development. She is responsible for building product recognition and generating sales in the legal market. She meets with law firm professionals and in house legal departments to discuss best practices as it relates to mitigating data security risk and implementation of powerful analytics and insightful workflows. In the Fall of 2014, while working with Sedona Working Group 11, the Data Security and Privacy Breach section, she recognized a need for technology that could protect valuable intellectual property at rest, encrypt data outside network firewalls and provide an audit function for internal and external investigations. In June 2016, Lisa was recognized for her accomplishments in the legal technology field and was nominated and accepted the President of the Board for the New England Litigation Technology Professionals (“NELTP”). NELTP is a non-profit organization that provides educational panels on emerging trends in litigation technology and eDiscovery.
